2012 Mini Bike Winter

On February 20th, 21st, and 22nd the City of Portland was captivated by an event enigmatically titled, “Mini Bike Winter.” Different contests such as “Chariot Wars,” “Bike Bowling,” The Cupcake Challenge,” attracted a very large array of serious competitors. Spectators were filled with an overwhelming blood-lust and a hunger for pizza they never knew possible. Paul and I documented the intensity the best we could. Although, as the nudity and tomfoolery became more grotesque over the span of the weekend, our zeal was worn and we quickly hurried back to the quiet life of Hood River.
Only in the later stages of editing did our excitement about this project return to us because we came to the realization:

Rev Phil is the man with the handlebar mustache who can be seen squeezing his derriere into a plastic bag that reads, “Forever 21.” He is an inspiration. If you see him around Portland, thank him for Paul and I, he has made this video what it is.
